Our Philosophy

Simple

Problem simplification is at the core of the SimpliCyte approach. Most image analysis problems are similar in nature - separate tissue from background, segment tumor from stroma, detect and classify cells. By simplifying this problem to its fundamental elements - Regions and Objects - many complex solutions can be built, without defining complex workflows for every use case.

Intuitive

We want the image analysis experience to be seamless. To do this, we’ve designed a layer-based interface, where the user builds their workflow in layers. This is a natural translation for many common image analysis workflows, which are often hierarchical - tissue, tumor, cells. By treating analysis tasks as information layers, the user is free to build the workflow that meet their needs.

Powerful

We want to give users access to best-in-class solutions, while reducing the headache which can come with getting them up and running. While effective solutions are available to use out of the box, we’ve built our platform to be plugin-friendly. We want users to have access to the latest and greatest, and in a platform that enables seamless integration.
